Inspiration behind this year’s Cushion Christmas Actually Card

This year our marketing guru (cough) wanted to produce a Christmas Card that would be memorable and funny but also encapsulated everything Christmas and jolly!

Sam, being a massive movie buff and trying to get into the festive spirit herself, watched Love Actually whilst wrapping up early Christmas presents and, bam, the idea presented itself to her.

She quickly checked the DVD box and sure enough there was the perfect movie poster to plagiarise!

Noting there were 10 people on the poster, same number of Cushion Crew members, she knew it would work. And, knowing that Jane would be able to photograph the Cushion Crew in the correct poses and airbrush the faces to Hollywood standard, Sam set to writing the copy and deciding who should be who on the poster.

There was absolutely no doubt that Sam was going to be Emma Thompson, her idol! And Bob is just perfect in the Alan Rickman pose. Fabulous Actually!

So, here we have it, the Cushion Print Management 2017 Christmas Card.

We have had some amazing feedback from LinkedIn messages to private emails and telephones calls just to say how this has tickled people’s fancy!

It will have to be an extra special card next year to top this one!
